Submit Nominations
The annual ACOSA awards honor meritorious contributions to teaching, scholarship, and practice in the areas of community practice, social change, and collective action. We are particularly interested in highlighting the contributions by traditionally marginalized individuals and communities. Please consider submitting nominations for candidates for the following categories:
- Career Achievement
- Mid-Career Achievement
- Emerging Scholar
- Doctoral Student
- Outstanding Student
- Outstanding Practice Educator
- Outstanding Practitioner
- Outstanding Macro Program Award
Nominations are due September 8, 2026. Award recipients will be notified in early October.
The nominator(s) should upload all nomination materials via the ACOSA website:

Volunteers Needed!
The ACOSA Award Review Committee is looking for volunteers to review applications for the eight (8) awards. This involves reviewing short packets that typically consist of a cover letter, CV, sample work pertaining to the award, and meeting to discuss after the submission deadline in September.
